Thank you for your interest in the conference.

Registration begins on 14 July 2011 and ends of 07 October 2011. An 'early bird' conference fee will be available until 26 August 2011. Following this a 'standard' conference fee will be charged. Below please find information about the conference fee and what it includes.

The Southern Africa Conference on Volunteer Action for Development fee includes:

- Access to all sessions for the three day conference
- Participation in a site visit to a volunteer programme in the Johannesburg area
- A delegate pack with conference background papers/programme and other materials
- Lunch and tea breaks for the three days
- A opening reception on the night of Monday 17 October
- Closing refreshments on the third day
- Limited ground transportation between the Johannesburg airport and the conference venue

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
 
Please note that participants are responsible for arranging their own airfare and accommodation and covering these costs. For more information on travel and accommodation click here.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

  1. Please complete the online registration form available here.
  2. A booking acknowledgement will be sent to you.
  3. Please pay the invoice that is sent to you by email.
  4. You will receive notification of receipt of payment.
  5. You will then receive confirmation of registration.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Registration will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.
2. Payment is due prior to the start of the Conference.
3. An invoice with the Conference bank details will be sent to the billing contact (as specified on your registration form) within 24 hours of receipt of your registration. Please make payment once you have received this invoice.
4. Please ensure that all payments have your unique reference number (indicated on your invoice) as a reference on your payment, in order to trace your payment in our bank account (e.g. Reference 234).
5. Receipts will only be issued once proof of payment has been received, and the payment has cleared and been identified in the Conference bank account.

7. All payments must be made payable to 'VOSESA'
8. Registrations are only transferable by written consent by the organisers.
9. Delegates attending from countries outside South Africa are requested to make payment in South African Rands (ZAR) and are responsible for covering the bank charges. The full delegate registration fee amount invoiced must appear in the conference bank account.
10. Delegates requiring visa letters will receive them after full payment is received. The organisers are not responsible for assisting the delegates with visa applications.
11. Delegates are responsible for their own flight and accommodation costs and arrangements. Limited ground transportation will be provided between the Johannesburg airport and the conference venue. However, in some cases participants may need to arrange and cover their own transportation.
12. Early bird registration will close on Tuesday, 16 August 2011. Conference registration will close on Tuesday, 07 October 2011.

CANCELLATIONS

1. All cancellations must be received in writing and fax/emailed to Brenda Kennedy at email : conference@vosesa.org.za or fax +27 (0) 11 704 7310
2. Cancellations received before 22 August 2011 will not incur a cancellation fee.
3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 23 August 2011.
4. Refunds due will only be issued after the Conference (which will take place from 17 - 19 October 2011)
